The true definition of what is a local business is vague but at Localy, we use these guidelines:
- The business or person makes, grows, designs, modifies or creates their own products.
- and -
- The business or person sells directly to consumer (either at home or a storefront).
For retail, re-sellers and restaurants:
- The business stocks 50% or more of products that are produced within 200km.
Great question, at Localy we know privacy is extremely important and we are open about the information collected.
We do not track, record, nor store any of your GPS locations. We do record search topics and what businesses are located & found, this helps us provide you a better experience while using Localy.
Localy will is and will always be free for users to explore local businesses. There is a small fee for businesses to be listed, more info on that here.
